The Supreme Court, in a 5-4 decision, ruled in favor of Wal-Mart in a gender discrimination class action lawsuit. The Court ruled that the women employee’s, the largest class ever to file suit, claims were not similar enough to be treated as a class. Some believe this leaves the door open for large corporations to discriminate against its employees by allowing its managers discretion in their employment practices.
