Description:

Seeking candidate to fill vacancy for Kindergarten associate position . Hours are 7:55 AM - 3:00 PM pm on student attendance days.

Duties to Include:

Kindergarten Associate

Development of small group lessons with teacher input

Supervision of whole group while teacher works in small groups

Meeting with teacher to prepare and outline lessons

Clerical duties, including familiarity with technology

Supervision of playground, lunchroom, and/or bus duty

Screening children using format recommended by teacher

Gathering materials from resource center

Assisting teacher with physical set-ups for lesson and units

Providing coverage for teachers as a result of an emergency or building workshop/meeting

Qualifications:

Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) required.

Bachelor of Arts preferred

Elementary education endorsment preferred

Strong communication skills

Wage:

This is an hourly position at the rate of $15.50 per hour for candidates holding Professional Educator License (PEL) and $15 .00 per hour for non-certified candidates.
