Must have a A&P License Must beu00a0able to interview in person ASSEMBLY / Deburr Operator SUMMARY: The operator is responsible for the daily functions related to the assembly of parts using various tools and machines. In addition deburring parts as required. This is a non-exempt, full time, hourly position. JOB DUTIES: ASSEMBLY Assist team members with assembly functions, including developing assembly processes and procedures. Communicate with Floor supervisor/production planner regarding work schedules. Complete paperwork, review process specs, generate work instructions as needed. Utilize resources in planning, administration and warehouse to ensure traceability of all work performed and materials used. Coordinate / track the materials needed in assemblies. Both detailed and sub-assemblies. Deburring as required by the production planner/floor supervisor. SAFETY Ensure safety practices are met and sustained. Proper P.P.E. must be worn at all times, Steal toe boots, safety glasses and face mask during deburring. The assembly Tech will be using nitrogen, alodine as well as other corrosive inhibitors to install bushings, landing gear assemblies, and pulley drives. ADDITIONAL DUTIES: Active participant in Company Drug and Alcohol program. Perform all other duties and assignments as requested by Management. Will be asked to operate machinery, and other duties. REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Read and interpret complex machine part prints in aviation environment. A minimum of two years experience as a Machining Technician and/or Assembly Tech. Ability to work on one's own and motivated to perform job duties, and provide a high-end, quality product. Ability to use power operated machinery. Ability to work to specifications and extremely high attention to detail.
