Drives the financial performance of assigned area by ensuring that sales andnprofit goals are achieved and implements plans to correct any deficiencies; andnscheduling and training associates to meet the needs of the customers.nnDrives sales in assigned area by ensuring effective merchandise presentation,nincluding accurate and competitive pricing, proper signing, inventory levels,ncleanliness of the area; assessing economic trends and community needs;noverseeing the stocking and rotation of merchandise, the removal of damaged ornout-od-date goods; setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays;nsecuring fragile and high-shrink merchandise; and monitoring expenses withinnassigned area.nnModels, enforces, and provides direction and guidance to hourly Associates onnproper Customer service approaches and techniques to ensure Customer needs,ncomplaints, and issues are successfully resolved within Company guidelines andnstandards.nnEnsures compliance with Company policies and procedures by holding hourlynAssociates accountable; analyzing and interpreting reports; implementing andnmonitoring asset protection and safety controls; maintaining quality assurancenstandards; overseeing safety and operational reviews; developing andnimplementing action plans to correct deficiencies; and providing direction andnguidance on executing Company programs and strategic initiatives.nnProvides supervision and development opportunities for hourly Associates innassigned area by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, evaluatingnperformance, providing recognition, and ensuring diversity awareness.nnParticipates in community outreach programs, and encourages and supports hourlynAssociates in serving as good members of the community.nnUpholds the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with Associates and listeningnto concerns, researching issues, reviewing Company policies and procedures, andnproviding resolutions for Associates, including proactively seeking outnAssociate comments and concerns by meeting with Associates in their work areas.nnMinimum Qualifications...nnOutlined below are the required minimum qualifications for this position.
