Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm. This position is also required to be part of a paid rotating 24 hour on-call period of one week per month.
This is an hourly position with paid overtime.
The Role:
Facilities Electrician
Responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of facilities related electrical systems and equipment that can directly affect the safety and operation of the plant.

Essential Job Functions
Maintain all Plant electrical equipment to the highest possible standard to maximize Plant availability, reliability, efficiency, and profitability.
Install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and perform preventive maintenance on all Plant electrical components as assigned as well as assist with all facilities related systems such as HVAC, plumbing, compressed air, and vacuum.
Perform routine and emergency Plant electrical troubleshooting and maintenance functions including, but not limited to motors, MCCs, relays, breakers, electrical disconnects of rotating machinery, high voltage circuitry up to 480V.
Must be able to read, interpret and work with service manuals, blueprints, sketches, technical manuals, control wire diagrams and other written instructions to evaluate all electrical maintenance and logic in accordance with local and national codes.
Analyze electrical problems and take action to correct and advise supervisor when outside assistance from vendors, engineering contractors, and/or consultants is necessary.
Install electrical conduit, cable and fittings involved in commercial/industrial applications.
Install, terminate and troubleshoot Network & Data cabling.
Maintain records of readings, test results, and data on all assigned equipment and during overhauls and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate daily work activities and equipment status with other Plant employees.
Perform the housekeeping functions and equipment cleaning necessary to maintain the Plant in a clean and neat condition.
Maintain confidentiality of all information available to the position.
Acts as a team member with all employees of OSRAM staff.
Complies with all OSRAM policies and procedures.
What we look for
Thorough knowledge of all plant systems and understanding of process diagrams, simple electrical diagrams and operating instructions.
Ability to use analytical judgment to plan and perform diversified work, making decisions within prescribed limitations.
Perform all duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor to this position, but not specifically stated in this description.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and take direction from others.
Ability to work overtime, as well as, any scheduled shutdowns which could occur on a weekend.
You are proficient in the correct handling and documentation of hazardous materials, refrigerants, electrical circuits, water treatment chemicals, solvents and cleaning supplies to protect personnel and property from undue risk.
Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite.
Good manual dexterity.
Essential Physical Abilities
Ability to meet highest attendance requirements.
Regularly required to use hands and arms to touch or feel, and use tools.
Frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; and stoop, kneel, or crouch.
Required to climb or balance.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
High School education or equivalent; Electronics or Industrial Trade school classes
Qualified New Hampshire Journeyman Electrical License with minimum 4 years’ experience in commercial/ industrial installations.
Working Environment (Indoors – 90% Outdoors – 10%)
